Moving my little fitness bits to a separate little blog, 21 Days. I want to use my main account for posting my photographs, so I thought a different tumblr account would be useful for keeping things sorted. :)

Yeah, I think it is time for a new pair of shoes. The ones I have been using are 5+ years old and probably don’t offer enough support. That, plus the fact that I was jogging near the gutter, was probably the reason for my ankle roll. I’m looking into some new pairs of shoes, but there are just so many to choose from. @-@

Day 4
Well, today was a bust. I started off with a 15 minute yoga warmup and then went out to walk/jog the neighborhood. I was at the end of my first jogging sprint when my ankle rolled. The pain went away for a minute or two and I thought I was in the clear. Day 3
Today was another morning workout, due to work in the late afternoon to evening. I woke up this morning with my body feeling very stiff - yesterday’s workout was starting to kick in. Day 2
Another successful workout! It was a little bit more difficult than yesterday - I could feel that I was pushing myself a little bit further, but just the right amount. Like yesterday, the workout consisted of just the treadmill and recumbent bike. I did a little bit more distance wise, but I feel that it was mainly due to me setting out an actual routine. Went to the gym, worked out for an hour. 30 minutes on the treadmill, mainly walking at a fast pace with a few one minute jogs sprinkled throughout. Total distance traveled was about 1.4 miles. 21 Days
Supposedly it takes 21 days in order for something to become a habit, which is my goal for trips to the gym.
